This family recipe was the 2022 First Place winning dish at Cheftacular. Khachapuri is a Georgian version of pizza. Handmade dough topped with a feta mozzarella mix, butter and egg. Sprinkled with Za’atar spice from local spice maker Apricot Sun.
Served with Israeli salad . Israeli salad is a staple salad served at nearly ever meal in Israel where Jack’s family is from. This refreshing salad is composed of chopped cucumber , tomato, fresh parsley and dill mixed with a handmade lemon and olive oil dressing with a nice hint of freshly ground sea salt.
